The vineyards
Montepulciano grown partly in pergola Abruzzese and partly in Guyot structure at an altitude between 300 and 450 m a.s.l.
The winemaking
The grapes are left on the vineyards, after careful selection are de-stemmed and crushed. The skins are then left in contact with the must and with their indigenous yeasts for 20 days at a constant temperature of 20-22°C.
Tasting notes
Impenetrable ruby red color, in the nose red fruits, black cherry jam and almonds. The palate is slightly sweet, warm, soft, intense and with the typical almond finish.
Food pairings
Carni rosse cucinate con frutta, fegato, selvaggina, dolci al cioccolato, crostate di amarena o frutti di bosco, formaggi con mostarde o confetture.
