Selection of Montepulciano grapes cultivated in the characteristic shape of the pergola Abruzzese, located on hilly terrain with good exposure between 400 and 450 m a.s.l.
After a careful selection, the grapes are destemmed and softly crushed. During fermentation the must is left in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks, for 10-15 days at a temperature between 25 and 28°C.
Brilliant ruby red colour. Intense bouquet of characteristic marasca cherry, light tannic. The impact with the mouth is well bodied, nice freshness and harmonious balanced, intense aromatic persistence.
Structured dishes such as red meat, game or venison, braised meats, ethnic and spicy dishes. Also enjoyable alone as a meditation wine, with simple accompaniment of pretzels, almonds or pistachios.
